Hiring Video Creators for Social Media Shorts

We’re looking for creative video editors to help create engaging faceless video shorts for Facebook, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels. Next Chapters provides tools and resources to help aspiring writers bring their stories to life, and we need short, high-quality videos that will capture attention and engage our audience of writers, storytellers, and book lovers.

We’re hiring 4 to 5 people for a trial project of two videos at $50 total. After reviewing submissions, we’ll select the best fit for a long-term or larger project. This is a great opportunity for ongoing, consistent work.

We need someone who understands what works on social media and how to make videos that get views, shares, and engagement. The right person will know how to use stock footage, motion graphics, AI voiceovers, or text-based storytelling to create short-form content. A strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and hooks is essential. You should be able to match our branding and style while also bringing fresh ideas.

We’re open to working with someone who asks questions, wants to understand our company and approach, and can deliver content that resonates with our audience.
