Pay: $800/month (tracked by hours logged)
Duration: 3 months (possibility of extension)

We are a small marketing business with clients in the real estate industry. We are looking for a talented WordPress designer to help build and manage two real estate websites. The first website must be completed within two weeks, and the second in the following two weeks—both finished within a month. After that, the focus will be on optimizing and managing both sites for the remainder of the contract.

This is a fast-paced, full-time position with plenty of work to do, so we need someone who can work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Experience integrating WordPress with MLS systems and working with exterior plugins for real estate listings is required.

Requirements

- Proven experience in WordPress website design for real estate (link to previous work required).
- Ability to integrate MLS systems with WordPress using plugins like IDX Broker, Realtyna, or other solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly without compromising quality.
- Experience with plugins, SEO optimization, website speed optimization, and responsive design.
- Ability to create efficient systems for website management.
- Bonus: Additional design skills such as UI/UX, graphic design, branding, or coding knowledge (CSS, JavaScript).

Tools & Platforms You Should Know

- WordPress hosting platforms such as SiteGround, Bluehost, or similar.
- Page builders including Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery.
- MLS plugins such as IDX Broker, Realtyna, or other solutions.
- Image and design tools like Figma, Photoshop, or Canva.

Work Hours & Payment Details

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week role. Availability during 8 AM to 4 or 5 PM Madrid, Spain time is preferred, as this is where your manager will be located.
Payments will be made via PayPal on a bi-weekly basis.
This position may extend beyond three months based on performance.

The first round of the selection process is a portfolio review. The top three candidates will be selected for a paid follow-up task and will each receive $150 for their time, regardless of whether they are chosen for the final position.

Deadline: All portfolio submissions must be submitted by Friday at 5 PM (Madrid Time). Speed will be considered.

First Round: Portfolio Review

1. Website Replication (Speed Test)

Recreate a one-page real estate website as accurately as possible using WordPress. A sample site will be provided.

- Focus on layout, colors, fonts, and responsiveness.
- Any page builder such as Elementor or Divi may be used.
- Submit work as a live link and a Google Drive folder with screenshots.

2. MLS Integration Test (Technical Skill Assessment)

Demonstrate the ability to integrate an MLS system with WordPress.

- Choose one MLS plugin such as IDX Broker or Realtyna and set up a demo MLS listing page.
- Show how live property data would be pulled from an MLS feed.
- Include a step-by-step explanation of the process in a Google Drive document.
- Submit a live demo link and a Google Drive link with screenshots.

Final Selection Process

- Top three candidates will receive $150 each after the task is complete.
- The final designer will be selected after the follow-up task.
