We are hiring an experienced medical billing coder with AHIMA and/or AAPC certification. The ideal candidate will:
* Have expertise in resolving and preventing claim denials.
* Possess strong skills in claim workflows, including creation, submission, and status tracking.
* Be proficient in analyzing reports to minimize denials, optimize reimbursements, and ensure first-pass claim submissions.
* Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of CPT coding standards, HIPAA compliance, and the entire revenue cycle management (RCM) process.
* Understand patient accounts receivable (AR) processes and develop effective collection workflows.
* Train and mentor team members on best practices in coding and billing.
Key Responsibilities:

* Analyze denial reports to identify and resolve issues.
* Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with payer guidelines.
* Communicate with insurance representatives for claim resolution.
* Write appeal letters for denied claims.
* Stay updated on coding standards and regulatory changes through continuous education and industry resources.
* Develop workflows to improve claims processes and enhance operational efficiency.
