Sr. Web Designer and Developer

Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented Web Designer and Developer who will be responsible for creating visually appealing and highly functional websites for our clients. This role involves both graphic design and website development, requiring a keen eye for design along with proficient coding skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and Layout: Craft website designs using Figma that are modern, responsive, and tailored to client specifications. Convert designs into live, functional websites.
Development: Build and maintain websites using WordPress and other relevant platforms. Ensure all sites are optimized for performance and mobile compatibility.
User Experience (UX): Enhance user interfaces and create seamless navigation to improve user engagement and accessibility.
Testing and Deployment: Test websites for usability, fix any bugs, and ensure that all design elements function correctly across various browsers and devices before going live.
Maintenance: Update and maintain existing client websites, including content updates, plugin management, and troubleshooting.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and content teams to integrate SEO, content, and design to enhance website performance.
Tools Proficiency: Utilize tools like Adobe Suite, Figma, WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP effectively in the design and development process.
Project Management: Manage multiple projects from concept through completion under tight deadlines.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in web design and development with a portfolio of completed designs.
Strong understanding of web development technologies and design tools.
Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
Knowledge of best practices in website architecture, including SEO, CMS, and security compliance.
Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
Has prior leadership experience.
