About Us
Tyner Pond Farm is a regenerative farm in Central Indiana, focused on 100% grass-fed beef, pastured poultry, and partnerships with local farms for pasture-raised pork and organic raw dairy. Our mission is to improve human health by providing nutrient-dense food grown in an ancestral, sustainable way.
We are looking for a skilled video editor to help us produce long-form YouTube videos, YouTube Shorts,
Job Responsibilities
Edit long-form YouTube videos (typically 8-20 minutes) using provided footage, ensuring a logical and compelling narrative flow.
Create multiple short-form videos (YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels,
Ensure all edits align with our established tone (see below for tone guidelines).
Add clear and readable on-screen captions to all short-form content and, when necessary, to long-form videos. Captions should be natural, not overly styled, and easy to follow.
Add transitions, graphics, and other visual elements as needed while keeping the videos natural and professional.
Optimize video structure for engagement and retention while staying true to our brand’s direct and factual style.
Deliver all final videos in MP4 format with platform-specific aspect ratios (16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for Shorts/Reels).
Provide a test edit using a sample video to evaluate fit before onboarding.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in video editing for YouTube, Instagram, and
Strong understanding of narrative structure, pacing, and storytelling.
Ability to edit videos without excessive animations or gimmicky effects—we prefer a straightforward, serious, and engaging style.
Experience adding on-screen captions that are clear, readable, and not overly styled.
Strong ability to meet deadlines and work independently while taking feedback constructively.
Reliable internet connection for downloading/uploading large video files.
We do not require the use of any specific editing software. You are free to use whatever tools you are most comfortable with, as long as the final product meets our needs.

-We are direct and factual – No exaggerated marketing language, unnecessary fluff, or overly dramatic storytelling.
We are wary of big corporations and industrial food systems – Avoid any framing that normalizes factory farming or processed foods.
We are environmentally scrupulous – Our videos should reflect our commitment to regenerative agriculture and its impact on soil, animals, and human health.
We are serious and informative – Avoid humor,
We communicate with sincerity – We do not want trendy, over-produced edits. Our content should feel natural, grounded, and trustworthy.
Avoid excessive background music, unnecessary transitions, high-energy sound effects, or fast cuts that feel like typical influencer content. Our videos should feel thoughtful, educational, and compelling without gimmicks.
