JOB OVERVIEW

The Admissions Support Specialist plays a key role in the Customer Care and Compliance team, providing essential administrative and communication support throughout the admissions process. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate documentation and compliance, assisting with evaluations, and managing communications related to service agreements and payments. Additionally, the position involves tracking event registrations and attendance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized, with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities Include:
Admissions Processing & Compliance Checking
Assist candidates in meeting application deadlines and provide guidance on required documentation.
Resolve issues related to document submission and ensure compliance with admissions standards.
Review candidate documents for regulatory and institutional compliance, confirming that references and supporting materials meet necessary requirements.
Maintain and update the admissions document checklist to reflect the status of candidate submissions.

Problem-Solving
Quickly identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in candidate documentation.

Team Collaboration
Collaborate with other departments and support teams to ensure a seamless admissions process.
Adapt to changing priorities and work environments.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills
Proficient in Google Workspace and document management systems.
Experienced with file management and checklist tracking tools.

Communication Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with candidates, colleagues, and external partners.
Demonstrated capability as both a team player and an independent self-starter who meets deadlines and takes initiative, maintaining a positive attitude.

Attention to Detail
Meticulous in verifying documents and accurately updating tracking systems.

Organizational Skills
Exceptional at managing multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently.

Work Environment
Ability to work virtually via telecommuting with high-speed internet access in a quiet, dedicated workspace free from background noise.
