About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Outbound Real Estate Lead Generator to identify and qualify potential off-market properties for wholesaling and fix-and-flip projects. This role is crucial to our acquisition strategy, requiring excellent communication skills, a tenacious attitude, and a genuine interest in real estate. You will be responsible for proactively contacting property owners, building rapport, and uncovering opportunities that meet our investment criteria.
Responsibilities:
Prospecting: Identify and research potential off-market properties through various lead generation methods (e.g., skip tracing, public records, online databases).
Outbound Calling: Make a high volume of outbound calls to property owners to inquire about their interest in selling.
Lead Qualification: Effectively qualify leads based on pre-defined criteria, including property condition, ownership status, and motivation to sell.
Relationship Building: Develop rapport with property owners and build trust to facilitate productive conversations.
Data Management: Accurately record and manage lead information in our CRM system (e.g., Podio, Salesforce, etc.).
Follow-Up: Consistently follow up with leads to nurture relationships and track progress.
Collaboration: Work closely with the acquisitions team to share qualified leads and contribute to the overall deal flow.
Market Research: Stay informed about local real estate market trends and identify emerging opportunities.
Meeting Targets: Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly call and lead generation targets.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills are essential. Ability to articulate clearly and persuasively.
Sales Acumen: A natural ability to connect with people, overcome objections, and close deals (or set the stage for closing).
Resilience and Persistence: Must be comfortable with making a high volume of calls and handling rejection gracefully. A positive and persistent attitude is crucial.
Strong Work Ethic: Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Tech Savvy: Proficient with CRM software and other lead generation tools. Comfortable using technology to enhance productivity.
Real Estate Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with real estate terminology, wholesaling, and fix-and-flip strategies is a plus, but not required. We will train the right candidate.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple leads and track progress effectively. Detail-oriented and organized.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think on your feet and address property owner concerns creatively.
Positive Attitude: A can-do attitude and a passion for real estate are highly valued.
