Stone/Tile Draftsman

Generate fabrication cut tickets from approved shop drawings and hand sketches based on field measurements for the fabrication of natural stone, quartz and/or large format porcelain pieces to be manufactured, all using AutoCAD software.
Coordinate details of cut outs required for plumbing fixtures, kitchen equipment etc using product data/catalog cut sheets bringing any discrepancies and questions to project engineers.
Make changes to technical drafts based on the recommendations of the project engineers and architects.
Submit the drawings to the project managers for approval before putting them into production in both PDF and DXF format
Calculate dimensions and material requirements including but not limited piece layouts and slab layouts
Maintain close communication with the production team for all requests for information regarding the products to be produced.
Other duties as assigned
Experience in the stone fabrication industry is required
