Formwork Estimator (Remote - Virtual Role)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Formwork Estimator to join our team in a remote, virtual capacity. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in estimating formwork projects, be proficient in Bluebeam, and have the ability to integrate seamlessly into our construction SaaS system, Plexa.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for formwork projects.
Review architectural and structural drawings using Bluebeam to perform take-offs and quantity measurements.
Work within our construction SaaS system, Plexa, to input and manage estimates efficiently.
Collaborate remotely with our team, including Quantity Surveyors, Construction Managers, and Project Teams.
Provide cost analysis and recommendations to improve project efficiency.
Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
Ensure all estimates are aligned with our pricing methodologies and company standards.
Participate in pricing review meetings and assist in contract negotiations when required.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience as Formwork Estimator or similar role.
Strong proficiency in Bluebeam for take-offs and markups.
Ability to work within construction SaaS systems, preferably Plexa (or willingness to learn).
Extensive knowledge of formwork systems (jumpform, PERI, conventional, etc.).
Excellent numerical and analytical skills for cost estimations.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with the team and clients.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a virtual environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of Australian construction standards and regulations.
Background in construction management, quantity surveying, or civil engineering.
