JOB OVERVIEW

This is a part-time virtual position responsible community management of our Thinkific community for mental health clinicians as part of a Psychology Training Business specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Psychosis.

We are looking for an individual who not only shares our vision and values of commitment, teamwork, hard work and a standard of excellence, but also would be excited to help take this online community to the next level through increasing engagement and ensuring materials are top notch.

Uplevel Yourself: Be prepared to learn how to perform at the top of your game and above industry standards. Expect to learn by asking questions, analyzing your results and numbers and contributing to the excellence of the team by doing your part.

Business Values:
People with psychosis have been short changed for too long. Traditionally in the US their treatment has been limited to hospital outpatient or community mental health clinics that are housed in well known to be stigmatizing to the community buildings, have noisy and sometimes unsafe waiting rooms, and give an all round “illness” attitude that many people with psychosis don’t agree with. Also traditionally treatment has been provided by early career clinicians, straight out of graduate school (or even still in graduate school on internships or externships), looking to gain clinical hours before moving up and out to something else. These clinicians are often not highly skilled or trained in evidence based therapies. I believe that people with psychosis deserve better!!! Psychosis can happen to anyone, regardless of who or where they are. As such people with psychosis deserve treatment the same as you or I: high level, gold standard, evidence based treatment, regardless of ethnicity, religion, spiritual beliefs, sexual orientation, gender or socio-economic status; as well as choice in treatment location, which includes the option to attend in stigma reducing settings such as a beautifully furnished office in an unmarked building with a silent and safe waiting room.

Mission statement:
To further these values, I am committed to:
1) disseminating CBTp through training and supervising clinicians as widely as possible in the US, to a high level of competence
2) providing mentorship to those clinicians looking to work with psychosis in private practice, and support around some of the additional mechanisms they need to put in place to serve folks with psychosis safely and successfully
3) public speaking to explain that any of us could experience psychosis and as such people with psychosis just what anyone else would expect for their mental health support and wellness

Main responsibilities:

- Posting weekly engagement posts
- Posting thinkific reminders for our live bi-weekly meetings
- Creation of handouts and worksheet materials in Canva
