JOB OVERVIEW

Job Summary
We seek an experienced Catalog Manager with extensive expertise in Salsify to manage and optimize product catalogs across multiple e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that product data is accurate, up-to-date, and optimized for Amazon, Shopify, Walmart.com, and other major online marketplaces. This role will require data management, copywriting, and product content enhancement, along with the ability to upload and manage large datasets in Salsify.

Key Responsibilities
Catalog Management & Data Integrity
Own and manage the end-to-end product catalog using Salsify, ensuring seamless integration with multiple sales channels.
Upload, update, and maintain product information across Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, and other e-commerce platforms via Salsify.

Monitor and improve data quality, ensuring product descriptions, images, attributes, and specifications are accurate and optimized.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, and Product Development) to ensure the accuracy and consistency of product data.

Maintain category and product taxonomy to align with industry standards and company goals.
Audit product listings for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with marketplace requirements and best practices.

Salsify Expertise
Serve as the Salsify subject matter expert, providing guidance and training to internal teams.
Manage bulk uploads and data enrichment in Salsify to ensure timely updates across all channels.
Create and manage product templates, custom attributes, and workflows within Salsify to improve operational efficiency.
Work closely with IT and e-commerce teams to troubleshoot and optimize Salsify performance.
Copywriting & Content Optimization
Write, edit, and optimize product descriptions, bullet points, and feature highlights for clarity, SEO, and conversion.
Collaborate with the creative team to ensure that product images, videos, and A+ content meet brand standards.
Ensure product content aligns with brand voice and resonates with target customers.
Continuously update and refine product titles, descriptions, and keywords based on marketplace trends and SEO insights.

Channel Management & Reporting
Ensure product catalogs comply with the content standards and technical requirements of each sales channel.
Work closely with Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central, monitoring product listings and making necessary updates.
Analyze catalog performance and create weekly reports to track errors, completeness, and opportunities for improvement.
Support new product launches and promotional activities by ensuring all product data is published accurately and on time.

Qualifications
3+ years of experience in e-commerce catalog management, with extensive use of Salsify.
Strong understanding of Amazon, Shopify, Walmart Marketplace, and other e-commerce platforms.
Proven experience with bulk data management, product content optimization, and SEO best practices.
Excellent copywriting and editing skills with a focus on product storytelling and conversion.
Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and experience with data enrichment tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Familiarity with HTML/CSS for content formatting is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Amazon A+ Content, Enhanced Brand Content, and SEO keyword research.
Knowledge of GS1 standards and UPC management.
Previous experience in home goods or consumer products industry.
Experience with automation tools and integrations with Salsify.
