Video Editor for Professional Triathlon YouTube Channel

Hi! I’m Ari Klau — professional triathlete, content creator, and someone who willingly swims, bikes, and runs more miles in a week than most people drive. My YouTube channel gives viewers an inside look at the life of a pro athlete, from intense training sessions to educational content and the occasional coffee-fueled rant about the joys of seven hour training days.
I’m building a content team to level up my channel and looking for a creative, reliable video editor who can turn raw footage into engaging, polished videos that inform, entertain, and make people laugh.

The Role:
- Edit two high-quality videos per week (10-15 minutes) focused on training vlogs, educational content, and "day in the life" stories.
- Collaborate with me to craft compelling narratives from the footage.
- Add thoughtful music, text overlays, and graphics to enhance the viewer experience.
- Ensure edits are clean, engaging, and optimized for YouTube best practices.

About You:
- Skilled with video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Strong storytelling instincts and an eye for pacing that keeps viewers engaged.
- Experience editing lifestyle, sports, or vlog-style content.
- Comfortable with color correction, audio syncing, and delivering a polished final product.
- Able to turn around two edits a week without sacrificing quality.
- Bonus points if you understand YouTube trends and can create eye-catching thumbnails!
