***Virtual Assistant Job Description***
Position: Part-Time Virtual Assistant (12 hours/week to start, with potential to increase)
Location: Remote
Compensation: Competitive based on experience ($6–$7/hour)
Time Zone: Must be available to overlap with CET hours for at least part of the workday

We are a small but dynamic nonprofit organization seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support daily operations. This role is perfect for someone who excels at following instructions, managing administrative tasks, and keeping things organized without requiring excessive oversight. You will work directly with the founder to execute assigned tasks efficiently. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable with
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage inboxes and respond to
- Organize and track communications with clients, donors, and partners.
- Update and maintain the CRM system.
*Mailchimp & Newsletter Editing (2–3 hours/week)*
- Format and proofread newsletters before sending.
- Select appropriate stock images to enhance visual appeal.
- Schedule
*Social Media Support (Canva & Posting) (1-2 hours/week)*
- Create simple, well-designed social media posts using Canva.
- Schedule and publish content on Instagram and
- Respond to comments and basic inquiries.
*Task & Project Organization (Asana, Admin Work) (4–5 hours/week)*
- Keep Asana task boards updated and organized.
- Assign deadlines and ensure smooth project tracking.
- Perform administrative support tasks such as editing documents and updating website platforms.
*Research & Board Meeting Support (Occasional Tasks) (As needed)*
- Conduct research on grants, publishing companies, translation services, etc.
- Assist with board meetings (creating agendas,
- Make simple travel arrangements.

- Highly Organized & Detail-Oriented – You thrive on structure and can manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Confident in
.- Tech-Savvy – Comfortable with tools like Mailchimp, Canva, Asana, Google Docs, and CRM systems.
- Follows Instructions Well – You execute tasks precisely as assigned without needing excessive guidance.

*Preferred Skills & Experience*
Previous experience as a Virtual Assistant or Executive Assistant.
Proficiency with Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Mailchimp, Canva, Squarespace, Asana, and social media platforms.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Experience in nonprofit administration or working with small businesses is a plus.
*Work Structure & Compensation*
Hours: Part-time, 10–18 hours/week depending on workload.
Pay: Competitive based on experience and skillset ($X–$X/hour or monthly retainer).
Time Zone Requirement: Must have some overlap with CET working hours.
Trial Period: The role will begin with a paid trial task to assess fit and work style.
