Job Summary:
We are seeking an Enterprise Hardware Network Storage Engineer to design and maintain high-performance storage solutions within our enterprise infrastructure. This role requires expertise in enterprise hardware, particularly storage solutions, along with experience in virtual machines, Linux environments, and networking. The ideal candidate must also have a strong aptitude for learning new technologies, including CCTV and Access Control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Storage Systems Management: Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, and RAID technologies.
• Virtualization Support: Manage storage integrations with VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualized environments.
• Linux Administration: Perform system administration tasks on Linux servers, ensuring storage reliability and performance.
• Network & Security: Work with networking protocols (iSCSI, NFS, SMB, Fibre Channel) to optimize storage performance.
• System Troubleshooting & Optimization: Monitor and troubleshoot storage infrastructure, ensuring high availability and data integrity.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain backup solutions and disaster recovery strategies for storage environments.
• Emerging Technologies: Learn and support CCTV and Access Control systems, integrating them into the network storage infrastructure.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and compliance standards for enterprise storage solutions.
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise storage engineering.
• Strong knowledge of SAN, NAS, RAID configurations, and storage protocols.
• Experience with virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM).
• Proficiency in Linux administration (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, SMB, NFS, etc.).
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues in enterprise storage environments.
• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies, including CCTV and Access Control systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certifications such as VMware VCP, Red Hat RHCSA/RHCE, or Storage Vendor Certifications (NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE, etc.).
• Experience with cloud storage and hybrid storage solutions.
• Prior exposure to security or surveillance systems (CCTV, Access Control).
