We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Head of Operations to lead and optimise our e-commerce operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing logistics, fulfilment, supply chain, customer service, and overall operational efficiency. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless order processing, inventory management, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
Operations & Fulfilment Management
* Oversee end-to-end e-commerce operations, ensuring efficiency in fulfilment, shipping, and logistics.
* Implement scalable processes to support growth and expansion.
* Manage third-party logistics (3PL) providers and negotiate cost-effective solutions.
* Ensure timely and accurate order processing, reducing errors and delays.
Supply Chain & Inventory Control
* Develop and optimise supply chain strategies to ensure stock availability.
* Monitor inventory levels, reduce stockouts, and prevent overstocking.
* Implement demand forecasting models to align inventory with sales trends.
* Work with suppliers to enhance procurement efficiency and reduce lead times.
Customer Experience & Service
* Oversee customer service operations, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
* Implement automation tools to improve response times and resolution rates.
* Analyse customer feedback and return data to enhance the shopping experience.
Technology & Automation
* Identify and integrate automation tools to enhance operational efficiency.
* Work closely with IT and development teams to optimise e-commerce platforms.
* Ensure seamless integration between ERP, CRM, and e-commerce systems.
Performance Monitoring & KPI Management
* Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for operations, fulfilment, and logistics.
* Use data analytics to identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiencies.
* Produce reports on performance, costs, and operational challenges.
Team Leadership & Compliance
* Build and manage a high-performing operations team.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards, including data protection and shipping regulations.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the operations team.
Key Skills & Qualifications
* Proven experience in an operational leadership role within e-commerce.
* Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain, and inventory management.
* Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.).
* Familiarity with ERP, CRM, and warehouse management systems.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Data-driven mindset with expertise in performance metrics and reporting.
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.
* Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PL).
* Knowledge of digital marketing, customer experience, and e-commerce trends.
* Certification in Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, or similar is a plus.
