Who We're Looking For:
We are looking for a Video Editor that specializes in short-form content creation and social media retention. Your primary role will be to create engaging and compelling videos for speakers that captivate audiences on various web and social media platforms. You should have a solid understanding of basic graphic animation and rotoscope techniques. However, we aren't looking for particularly intense graphic animation/effects etc. The focus is on selecting relevant content and applying effects wisely, not on mastering the most complicated editing styles.


Key to this role are excellent people skills and integrity. You should be someone who can communicate effectively, collaborate with a remote team, and maintain a high standard of professionalism in all interactions. Attention to detail is crucial, as is a proactive mindset in approaching both creative challenges and routine tasks.


Specific Details
• Employment Type: Full-Time, Remote
• Work Schedule: Flexible
• Work Hours: 8-10 hours per day, 6 days a week
• Editing and Assembling Footage: Cut, splice, and edit raw footage into a cohesive and engaging final video for personal brand, adhering to the project's vision and goals.
• Basic music selection and sound effects: Enhance video content with appropriate soundtracks, sound effects, and audio mixing to improve viewer experience.having understanding of music is crucial
• Basics of Color Grading and Correction: Adjust and enhance color settings to ensure visual consistency and appeal across all projects.
• Graphics and Special Effects: Incorporate motion graphics and special effects as needed to enhance the storytelling aspect of videos.
• Collaboration with Creative Teams: Work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to ensure a unified vision and effective execution of projects.
• Timely Delivery of Projects: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met without compromising quality.
• Quality Control and Revisions: Conduct thorough reviews of all edits, incorporating feedback and making necessary revisions to achieve the desired outcome.
• Staying Current with Industry Trends: Regularly update skills and knowledge in video editing techniques, software, and trends.



Experience
• Proven Experience: Demonstrable experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing short form video editing
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro/Capcut pro (PC) Adobe After Effects or similar tools
• Creative Flair: A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of storytelling through visual media.
• Teamwork and Communication: Excellent communication skills and experience working collaboratively with remote teams.
• Time Management: Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptability: Comfortable adapting to client feedback and changing project requirements.
