We are seeking an experienced Employment Immigration Bilingual Spanish speaker Paralegal to assist with various immigration cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of employment-based visa processes, documentation, and compliance requirements. You will be responsible for preparing petitions, managing case files, and coordinating with clients and government agencies. Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential. Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with complex family-based immigration petitions and deportation cases
Ability to communicate professionally and interact effectively with all levels of personnel, including management staff and support staff
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor, and presentation
Ability to be a proactive self-starter who understands the details within a much larger context
High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively
Excellent customer service skills and ability to work on multiple matters simultaneously in an organized manner and under minimal supervision
Flexibility and ability to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands
The position also requires the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
Requires manual dexterity to dial a telephone, enter data into a computer, handle objects, and operate tools
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Paralegal with an immigration law firm STRONGLY desired.
Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing).
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience with immigration client management/forms software such as Cerenade, EImmigration, and Immigration Tracker is preferred but not required.
Personal qualities: Highly motivated, highly organized, excellent communication skills, excellent research, and writing skills, ability to prioritize and multitask, deadline and detail-oriented, works well independently, works well under pressure.
Paralegal or Legal Assistant: 1 year (Required)
Immigration: 1 year (Preferred)
