PART-TIME POSITION: We are looking for a motivated Junior Web Developer with hands-on experience in WordPress, Elementor, and Divi to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in web development, SEO fundamentals (including technical SEO), performance optimization, and security best practices.
This role requires working in the Arizona time zone, so availability during those hours is essential. The candidate must also be available to work on Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities:
Development & Customization:
Develop, customize, and maintain websites using WordPress and Elementor.
Work with Divi when required but prioritize Elementor for builds.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP code.
Ensure websites are mobile-responsive and meet modern UI/UX standards.
SEO & Performance Optimization:
Implement on-page SEO best practices, including meta tags, structured data (schema markup), and heading structures.
Optimize websites for Core Web Vitals, including page speed, user experience, and loading time.
Minimize render-blocking resources, optimize images, and implement lazy loading techniques.
Work with SEO plugins (Rank Math, Yoast SEO, All-in-One SEO) to enhance website rankings.
Technical SEO & Security Best Practices:
Ensure proper indexing, configure robots.txt, sitemap.xml, and handle canonical tags.
Implement SSL certificates, security headers, and WordPress hardening techniques.
Address 404 errors, broken links, and redirect issues.
Stay updated on Google’s algorithm changes and implement best practices accordingly.
Testing, Debugging & Troubleshooting:
Conduct thorough QA testing to ensure website functionality and compatibility.
Debug and resolve WordPress theme, plugin, and layout issues.
Fix performance and security vulnerabilities to maintain website integrity.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with designers, SEO specialists, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing creative and technical insights.
Continuous Learning & Growth:
Stay updated with WordPress, Elementor, SEO, and web development trends.
Improve technical knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and explore WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) compliance.
Gain a deeper understanding of website performance tools (Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, Lighthouse).
Project & Time Management:
Assist in project planning, task estimation, and meeting deadlines.
Maintain proper documentation of code changes, updates, and implementations.
Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP for WordPress.
Experience in WordPress Elementor and Divi
Basic knowledge of SEO principles (on-page SEO, technical SEO, structured data, Core Web Vitals).
Understanding of website performance optimization techniques.
Awareness of security best practices for WordPress.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Portfolio Requirement:
