Web Designer (Figma) – Long-Term Opportunity with Mitchell Digital

I’m looking for a creative and detail-oriented web designer to join my team on a freelance basis, with the potential for a long-term working relationship.

About the Role & Future Opportunities:
I run Mitchell Digital, a web development business based in the UK. I specialise in PHP and WordPress development, but I need a talented designer to handle creative web design tasks.

I’m looking for someone who:
? Has a strong eye for design and understands conversion rate optimisation (CRO).
? Can design in Figma (no development required).
? Communicates well and can follow brand guidelines.
? Is open to potential long-term work after completing this initial task.

If this first project goes well, I’ll have regular design work available, including homepage and full website designs for various clients.

Initial Test Task – Homepage Design in Figma
For this first project, I need a homepage design created in Figma.

Project Details:

The client is an Instagram micro-influencer who:
Sells interior design mood boards (main CTA).
Also sells custom china plates (secondary action).
The design must be visually engaging and focused on conversions.
The client has provided a mood board and logo to guide the design.
This is a one-off gig task, but if successful, there will be regular work available.

Deadline: Ideally completed within one week.

Requirements to Apply:
Must have experience designing websites in Figma.
Must provide at least 3 portfolio samples of web designs for service-based businesses.
Bonus: Experience designing with CRO in mind.
