Job Title: AI/Website Developer & Admin Assistant

Location: Remote / Hybrid
Employment Type: Full-time / Contract

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated AI/Website Developer & Admin Assistant to help build and manage a recurring revenue, service-based platform designed for customer support and status updates for solar consumers. This platform will cater to 25-year Feed-in Tariff (FIT) contract investments, ensuring that solar system owners receive real-time updates, automated support, and streamlined communication for their long-term energy investments.

As part of this role, you will develop, maintain, and optimize a customer-facing digital platform that integrates AI-powered automation, chatbots, payment processing, and CRM functionalities. You will also assist in website administration, AI training, and backend management, ensuring a seamless experience for both customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Website & Platform Development:
• Develop and maintain a service-based online platform that offers subscription-based customer support and system monitoring.
• Integrate AI-driven chatbots for automated customer inquiries and issue resolution.
• Develop and implement real-time status updates for solar system performance, maintenance alerts, and contract tracking.
• Ensure secure and scalable backend development using modern frameworks (e.g., Node.js, React, Python, or PHP).
• Integrate API connections with solar monitoring platforms, payment gateways, and customer CRMs.

AI Development & Automation:
• Develop and train AI models for predictive maintenance, customer support automation, and system optimization recommendations.
• Set up automated workflows for ticketing, billing, and support escalation.
• Implement natural language processing (NLP) algorithms to improve chatbot interactions.

Website Administration & Support:
• Manage domain hosting, server configurations, and website updates.
• Optimize website SEO, user experience (UX), and mobile responsiveness.
• Assist in content management, blog updates, and knowledge base development.
• Ensure platform security and compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).

Business & Revenue Development:
• Design and implement recurring revenue models (subscriptions, premium support plans, etc.).
• Work with marketing and sales teams to improve customer onboarding and retention strategies.
• Develop customer dashboards with performance analytics, financial reports, and payout tracking for FIT contracts.

Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Web Development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Next.js, or Vue.js.
• Backend Development: Node.js, Python, PHP, or Ruby on Rails.
• Database Management: MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• AI & Machine Learning: Experience with TensorFlow, OpenAI, or NLP models is a plus.
• API Integration: Experience working with third-party solar monitoring APIs and CRMs.
• Cloud & Hosting: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud experience preferred.

Business & Admin Skills:
• Experience with subscription-based business models and recurring payment setups.
• Ability to work on customer experience (CX) improvements for solar consumers.
• Strong knowledge of renewable energy markets, particularly Feed-in Tariffs (FITs).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
