JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Video Editor to join our growing team. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw footage into engaging course material and captivating social media content

Responsibilities:

- Edit video footage for online horse training courses
- Create short, attention-grabbing videos for social media platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
- Produce video ads from recorded content (webinars, testimonials, course material, etc.)
- Collaborate with the content team to ensure videos align with brand messaging and objectives
- Maintain a consistent style and quality across all video content
- Stay up-to-date on video editing trends and techniques

Qualifications:

- Basic understanding of Final Cut Pro. Knowledge of other video editing softwares is a bonus, but ultimately Final Cut Pro will be the software of choice. We will be providing coursework that will provide you the opportunity to learn Final Cut Pro, as well as other video related skills.
- You must own your own copy of Final Cut Pro.
- Basic understanding of video editing principles (pacing, storytelling, etc.)
- Experience creating engaging content for social media
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must put the word "Aliens" in your message title when reaching out, or your application will not be considered.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of horses and horsemanship is a plus, but not required.
