Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Analyst to support our CFO service offerings. In this remote, full-time contract role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining complex financial models, conducting in-depth financial analyses, and preparing high-quality reports that inform executive decision-making. Your insights will directly influence the strategic direction of our clients and contribute to our company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed financial models for forecasting, budgeting, long-term planning, valuation, scenario
analysis, and sensitivity analysis to generate actionable recommendations
• Analyze financial statements, key performance indicators, and operational metrics to identify trends and
opportunities; prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership and clients; and perform
variance analysis supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
• Provide strategic financial advice and support to C-suite executives by assisting in the development of business plans,
growth strategies, and tailored financial strategies
• Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and work with
cross-functional teams to drive financial performance while clearly communicating complex financial data to non-
financial stakeholders
• Assist with accounting and fractional controllership related tasks like the monthly close, bill processing and transaction
categorization

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience: At least 3 years in financial modeling, financial analysis, or a similar role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and corporate finance
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software; experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) is highly
desirable
• Experience with SQL is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven remote environment
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Preferred: Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are a plus
