JOB OVERVIEW

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support our HR team. The ideal candidate will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and HR system support, ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and experience handling HR-related tasks in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Support:
Monitor and process job applications, coordinate interviews, and respond to candidate inquiries.
Conduct background checks and pre-screenings for potential hires.

Onboarding Assistance:
Facilitate new hire orientations and onboarding processes.
Prepare and distribute orientation materials and communicate schedules to new hires.

HR System Support (UKG Ready):
Provide technical support for UKG Ready, troubleshooting system issues as needed.
Manage employee engagement surveys and coordinate exit interviews.
Ensure accurate documentation updates and maintain system checklists.

Employee Records Management:
Transition employee records from paper-based systems to electronic formats.
Send out communications regarding benefits offerings and monthly health newsletters.

Employee Queries:
Address employee questions related to benefits, leave programs, and other HR-related matters.

Rewards & Recognition Program Support:
Assist in developing and maintaining the Employee Rewards and Recognition Program.
Support service awards and point-based rewards for tenure milestones.

Qualifications:
Solid understanding of basic HR principles and practices.
High level of confidentiality and integrity.
Strong organizational and document management skills.
Familiarity with UKG Ready software and other HR platforms (e.g., Upgrade to see actual info) with the ability to adapt to new systems quickly.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
