Job Summary
As an Assistant Editor, you will work closely with our Senior Video Editor to produce and edit high-quality, viral video content focused on TikTok, while also repurposing content for Snapchat Spotlight, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels. You’ll manage multiple projects, ensuring each piece aligns with our creative vision and meets deadlines. If you have social media video editing experience, a knack for viral content, and excellent organizational skills, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Production:

Assist the Senior Video Editor in editing and producing engaging video content for TikTok that capitalizes on current trends.
Repurpose and adapt video content for Snapchat Spotlight, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels, ensuring consistency and quality.
Project Management:

Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Organize and maintain video assets for easy access and collaboration within the creative team.
Collaboration:

Work closely with the content team, including creators, influencers, and the Creative Director, to ensure content aligns with our brand’s voice and goals.
Review video performance metrics and provide constructive feedback to improve future content quality.
Trend Awareness:

Stay up-to-date on social media trends, video editing techniques, and best practices for TikTok and other platforms.
Qualifications
Required:

1+ years of video editing experience, specifically for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).
Basic proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
Familiarity with TikTok trends and best practices for creating engaging, viral content.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
High attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.
Preferred:

Experience working on e-commerce or direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands.
Knowledge of basic animation or motion graphics to enhance video content.
Understanding of content performance metrics and data-driven editing decisions.
