Python Programmer – AI & API Integration for Sports Science
Revolutionizing Athlete Monitoring with AI-Driven Insights
Are you a Python programmer with expertise in API integration, real-time data processing, and AI-driven analytics? Do you want to be at the forefront of sports science innovation, automating data synchronization across VALD Hub, Senaptec Sensory Station, PNOE Analytics and other Sports Science Technology to power AI-enhanced performance insights?
We’re looking for a technical pioneer to develop a next-generation AI-powered athlete monitoring system, transforming biomechanics, metabolic, and cognitive performance data into real-time, actionable intelligence for coaches and sports scientists.
This role sits at the intersection of AI, sports performance, and real-time data automation, leveraging insights from leading experts featured in Sports Science.
Project Overview & Accelerated Execution:
This project will progress through three structured (estimated) development phases:
Phase 1 (1-2 weeks): API Integration & Data Synchronization
- Develop seamless real-time data pipelines through VALD Hub.
- Optimize API connectivity for low-latency, high-reliability data processing.
- Implement data validation and security protocols to ensure stability and compliance.
Phase 2 (4-6 weeks): AI-Driven Performance Analytics
- Develop AI-powered models that provide instant training insights.
- Align AI interpretations with elite sports science principles (force-time analysis, metabolic profiling, cognitive performance tracking).
- Optimize natural language processing (NLP) for AI-driven decision-making using Smart Language Technology (e.g., ChatGPT).
Phase 3 (8-12 weeks): Scalable Application Development
- Build a user-friendly web or mobile platform where athletes, coaches, and practitioners can interact with AI-generated reports.
- Ensure intuitive UI/UX design, allowing seamless visualization of real-time performance metrics.
- Implement cloud-based infrastructure for long-term scalability and fast, reliable access.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & optimize real-time data pipelines for seamless API integration.
- Build AI-powered analytics tools that translate performance data into actionable training recommendations.
- Ensure system efficiency & reliability, reducing lag for instant feedback.
- Collaborate with sports scientists, strength coaches, and AI specialists to refine AI-driven insights.
- Develop a user-friendly interface (Phase 3) for clients to access AI-generated performance reports.
Ideal Candidate Should Have:
- Expertise in Python (Pandas, NumPy, FastAPI, AsyncIO).
- Proficiency in API integration and real-time data processing.
- Experience with AI/ML models & natural language processing (structured/unstructured data interpretation).
- General understanding of sports performance data (force plates, biomechanics, metabolic profiling, cognitive assessments).
- Cloud computing & database management skills (AWS, Firebase, PostgreSQL, or similar).
- UI/UX development experience (preferred for those interested in Phase 3 execution).
