Customer Service and Order Entry

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service & Order Entry Specialist to join our team. This role involves processing customer orders in Fishbowl Inventory, coordinating shipping approvals, ensuring timely payment processing, and assisting with other related tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
• Order Processing: Accurately enter customer orders into Fishbowl Inventory and ensure all order details are correct.
• Customer Communication: Work directly with customers to confirm order details, secure approvals for shipping, and resolve any order-related inquiries.
• Payment Management: Monitor and ensure timely payment collection, apply payments in the system, and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Shipping Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to confirm inventory availability and ensure orders are shipped on time.
• Issue Resolution: Address customer concerns related to orders, payments, or shipments, ensuring quick and effective resolution.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of orders, payments, and customer interactions.
• System Updates: Ensure customer account information and order history are correctly maintained in our system.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in customer service, order entry, or logistics is preferred.
• Familiarity with Fishbowl Inventory or similar order management software is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent data entry skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
