Social Media Video Editor (Davinci Resolve)

Hi, I’m looking for an editor with experience in editing social media videos designed for audience retention. This includes engaging hooks, captions, graphics, and subtle effects that enhance the viewing experience without being overdone.

DaVinci Resolve will be the primary editing software for this project, so only apply if you are proficient in using it for all edits.

The project is for a wedding planner. I filmed her speaking about various topics, and your role will be to turn the rough cut into a polished, engaging video. Here’s a completed version of the first edit:

This was a quick edit, and I expect the final version to have more engaging captions, improved graphics, and subtle sound effects throughout to enhance retention.

You can find the footage here. Video 1 is what you’ll be editing. Your job is to take the rough cut and refine it with captions, effects, and audio improvements. Keep the effects subtle—less is more for this account.
