Senior Accountant/CPA

We are seeking a meticulous Superstar to join our team!
We are a CPA firm that works with English speakers and already have a team of 5+ high-performing individuals from the Philippines. Having a mastery of the English language is a requirement, and will be tested prior to hiring.

Our new team member will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of client financial reports. This is a remote position, perfect for someone with a sharp eye for detail and a deep understanding of accounting principles. We need someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and loves to ensure that every number aligns perfectly. You should be passionate about accuracy, have a collaborative mindset, and strive for excellence in everything you do.

Responsibilities:
-Conduct thorough reviews of financial statements, tax returns, and client reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
-Identify errors and inconsistencies, providing constructive feedback to processors.
-Proactive Communication: Regularly communicate with our team. Offer solutions and feedback confidently.
-Collaborate with leadership to refine and enhance quality control processes.
-Support the team in maintaining high standards of financial reporting.

Qualifications:
-Strong knowledge of US accounting principles and tax regulations.
-Experience in quality control or financial review roles (minimum of 5 years preferred).
-High attention to detail and analytical skills.
-Proficiency in Xero accounting software, and Google Suite
-Effective communication skills for providing feedback and working with a remote team.

Preferred Skills:
-CPA certification or equivalent is a plus.
-Experience in reviewing financial reports for CPA or accounting firms.
