Task Objective

The purpose of this trial task is to assess your skills in video editing by having you create a high-converting creative for our brand, (Meylora).

This task will allow us to evaluate:
- Your understanding of our brand.
- Your ability to identify our audience's pain points.
- Your proficiency in creating engaging and compelling ad creatives.

Task Instructions

The ad should be at least 35 seconds long.
Ensure the video flows naturally, with the right balance of emotional appeal and rational benefits.
Be sure to include a strong call-to-action.

Step 1. Sourcing Footage

1. Sourcing Footage:
You can use the Google Drive folder provided ( drive.google.com/drive/folders/1xfT7s6RZ-MIXFY2BthvYZ2XzlLYMHY-2?usp=sharing ). You will have a folder for the hook, which should be the first 3-5 seconds of your video. Which should be overlayed with an audio from the text to speech folder. The background should also have an audio from the sounds folder. After the hook, please use any clips from the body footage folders to create the rest of your video.

Ensure that the footage is relevant, high quality, and doesn’t contain any other branding or loud music.


Step 2: Create the Video Ad

1. Assembling the Video:
Using the footage you sourced, create a high-converting video ad that is at least 35 seconds long.
Ensure the the ad is cohesive and structured.

2. Engagement:
The video should be highly engaging and hold the audience’s attention from the hook to the call-to-action. Add subtitles in our brand colors(Purple).

3. Best Practices:
Use a proven video ad framework that has been successful in other high-performing ads (e.g., problem-solution format, before-and-after transformations) if you struggle coming up with a good structure.
