Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join the Marketing team of our dynamic marine dealership. The ideal candidate will bring a keen eye for design and a passion for storytelling to enhance our dealership's branding and marketing efforts. This position plays a pivotal role in creating engaging visual content that resonates with boating enthusiasts and aligns with our brand identity.
This is a remote position with a schedule from Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM US CST
Job Responsibilities:
Design & Branding
Develop and maintain consistent branding guidelines across all marketing materials.
Create visually compelling graphics for digital and print mediums, including advertisements, brochures, banners, and dealership signage.
Digital Content Creation
Design graphics for website content, social media posts,
Optimize graphics for various platforms, ensuring proper resolution and file compatibility.
Marketing Collateral
Collaborate with the marketing team to design sales decks, promotional materials, event flyers, and catalogs for marine products and services.
Produce engaging boat model showcases and custom layouts for inventory promotions.
Social Media & Campaign Support
Work closely with the marketing team to design and produce content for seasonal campaigns, sales events, and new product launches.
Generate innovative visuals for social media platforms, including Instagram,
Event Support
Design event-specific materials such as invitations, signage, banners, and giveaways for dealership-sponsored marine expos and shows.
Assist in visual branding for dealership-hosted events or community sponsorships.
Photography & Media Management
Edit, enhance, and retouch photography for marketing use, focusing on showcasing boats, accessories, and lifestyle imagery.
Organize and maintain a media library of photos, videos, and design files.
Collaboration
Work closely with the sales and service teams to ensure marketing materials align with current inventory and promotions.
Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute creative ideas for campaigns and projects.
Project Management
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high design quality.
Ensure all designs comply with licensing, copyright, and dealership brand standards.
Market Trend Analysis
Stay updated with design and marketing trends, particularly within the marine industry, to create competitive and relevant designs.
Proactively propose creative solutions to enhance customer engagement and dealership visibility.
Technical Knowledge
Utilize industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro).
Prepare print-ready files and liaise with printers or vendors to ensure quality production.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or Marketing, with a portfolio that demonstrates expertise in branding, logo design, and web design elements.
5 years of professional graphic design experience.
Proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or similar tools.
Experience with responsive design and a strong understanding of web usability and accessibility best practices.
Exceptional attention to detail and an eye for aesthetic consistency across various design elements.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Basic knowledge of photography and video editing is a plus.
Requirements:
Must have a personal computer equipped with the necessary design software for remote work.
Availability to complete project deliverables on schedule and adapt to the project timeline.
