JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Part-Time Social Media Manager who will be responsible for creating, scheduling, and publishing content across various social media platforms, as well as on our own platform. The ideal candidate is creative, results-driven, and has a keen eye for design. You will produce unique and engaging posts—including images, short videos, and other promotional materials—to help grow brand awareness and user engagement.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Scheduling

Create compelling text, image, and video posts for social channels (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) and for our internal platform.
Develop a consistent posting schedule to maintain an active and engaging online presence.
Design & Branding

Develop on-brand graphics, images, and short videos for social media and advertising campaigns.
Collaborate with the team to maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms.
Community Engagement

Monitor comments, messages, and mentions; respond promptly and professionally.
Encourage conversation and user-generated content, fostering an interactive community.
Advertising & Promotional Materials

Design marketing and advertising materials (e.g., banners, flyers, digital ads) to support product launches, events, and promotional campaigns.
Work with the marketing team to implement ad strategies on relevant social platforms.
Analytics & Reporting

Track key performance metrics (reach, impressions, clicks, conversions) and compile regular reports.
Use insights to refine content strategy, optimize campaigns, and drive growth.
Strategy & Planning

Assist in developing and executing a content calendar aligned with business goals and product updates.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging social media best practices.
Collaboration

Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product, design) to align content with overall brand messaging.
Communicate feedback and insights from the community that might influence product or marketing decisions.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:

Minimum 1–2 years of experience managing social media channels professionally (internship or freelance counts).
Degree or coursework in marketing, communications, graphic design, or related field (preferred, but not required if experience is strong).
Technical Skills:

Proficiency with major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
Experience using social scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later) and basic analytics (Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights, Google Analytics).
Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
Basic video editing skills for short-form content (TikTok/Reels, YouTube Shorts) are a plus.
Soft Skills:

Excellent written communication and storytelling ability.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Creative mindset with a passion for engaging audiences.
