SEO Specialist/Web Designer for Real Estate Investing Company

Company Overview:
We are a real estate investing company that specializes in providing stress-free solutions for homeowners looking to sell their properties. We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented SEO Specialist & Web Designer to increase our Google SEO ranking. We are in two cities - one website is fully built out and the other needs additional design work and SEO-optimization. We have access to a comprehensive course that covers the latest SEO and web design best practices and you will have access to but we are looking for EXPERIENCED SEO specialists - preferably in the real estate space.

Job Description:
The objective is to get our website ranked on page 1 for Google for our targeted keywords in order to generate homeowner leads that want to sell their house and are motivated to do so.

Job Requirements:
- Must be available to work 10 hours a week
- Must be available for weekly video meetings (1x a week)
- Must have SEO and Web design experience, please DO NOT apply if you not have both

Compensation:
$5/hour
*$100 Bonus for every lead generated through the website that we end up doing a deal with. This will incentivize you to get our website ranked and generating leads as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Design & Development:

- Design a SEO optimized website using the tactics and tools explained in the course. The website hosting is built on the wordpress platform and design tools are similar to tools such as Elementor.
- Implement course-based strategies for optimizing web pages for speed, mobile responsiveness, and improved usability.
- Ensure that the website layout is both visually engaging and easy to navigate, enhancing the user experience.

SEO Strategy & Implementation:

- Study and apply SEO techniques from the course to our website, focusing on effective keyword integration, content structuring, and on-page SEO.
- Implement on-page SEO best practices, including optimizing meta tags, headers, image alt texts, and URLs.
- Build a strong internal linking structure and utilize schema markup to boost search engine visibility.

Content Optimization:

-Collaborate with our team to optimize content according to SEO principles learned from the course.
-Implement content strategies that target relevant keywords and local SEO terms aligned with our real estate goals.
-Optimize blog posts, landing pages, and service pages, ensuring they drive traffic and support conversion.

Qualifications:

-Experience in web design and SEO, ideally within the real estate or a related industry.
-Proficiency in working with Wordpress based websites with a keen eye for modern, user-centric design.
- Experience with key SEO concepts, including on-page SEO, keyword research, and data analysis.
- Strong desire to learn and apply new strategies, particularly from the SEO/web design course we provide.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO and web design.
- Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to continuously improve.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
