Full-Time Remote Bookkeeper with Tax Experience!

Rate: $4-$6/hour
Position: Bookkeeper (Remote) with Tax Experience
Working Hours: 9 AM to 5 PM Pacific Time (PST)

We are a California-based accounting firm committed to delivering outstanding financial services to our clients. We're looking for a skilled and motivated bookkeeper with tax experience to join our team and contribute to maintaining financial accuracy, all while working remotely!

Responsibilities:
• Record financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Process accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner.
• Manage invoicing and ensure timely payments.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Assist with tax preparation tasks, including organizing and maintaining tax records.
• Communicate with clients professionally and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and accounting standards.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1-2 years of experience working with US clients.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks and Excel.
• Tax preparation experience is preferred (Drake experience preferred)
• Comfortable communicating with clients and providing clear financial guidance.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.

Work-from-Home Requirements:
• Laptop with Core i3/i5 processor or better.
• Reliable internet connection (100 Mbps or higher).
• Dual monitor setup (preferred).
• Experience working remotely with US-based clients.
