We are seeking a talented Podcast Editor who can bring our episodes to life with clean, professional audio edits and engaging short-form social media clips that capture the essence of our interviews.

Key Responsibilities:

Podcast Editing:
Edit raw podcast recordings to ensure high-quality sound.
Remove background noise, interruptions, filler words, and technical issues.
Enhance audio clarity and ensure consistent volume levels.
Adjust lighting as needed.
Add B-roll and edit visual and auto-switcher footage as needed.
Add intro/outro music and any voiceovers as needed.
Add section for sponsors.

Short-Form Content Creation:
Identify and extract engaging moments from podcast episodes for social media.
Edit clips into vertical or square formats suitable for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
Add captions, subtitles, and relevant graphics to make content eye-catching.

Content Management:
Organize and manage audio/video files for easy access.
Work collaboratively to meet deadlines and maintain a consistent content schedule.

Quality Control:
Ensure all edits align with the podcast’s tone, mission, and branding.
Keep up-to-date with social media trends to create content that resonates with the audience.

Requirements:
Proven experience editing podcasts or audio content.
Proficiency in audio and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent).
Strong attention to detail with a creative eye for social media trends.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills for collaboration with the podcast team.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with content creation for entrepreneurial or business-focused audiences.
Knowledge of social media algorithms and strategies for maximizing engagement.
Familiarity with motion graphics or animation is a plus.
Graphic design work is a Plus to help with other projects.
