Role Overview
As COO, you will act as the operational leader of the company, working directly with the owner to streamline processes, optimize performance, and lead the team to success. This role requires someone who can see the bigger picture while managing the finer details, guiding the company to scale sustainably and strategically.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the owner to develop and execute the company’s vision, mission, and strategic goals.
Operational Oversight: Take charge of day-to-day operations, ensuring processes run efficiently and effectively across all departments.
Problem-Solving: Act as a trusted advisor to the owner, identifying and resolving challenges with creative, actionable solutions.
Team Management: Build, lead, and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth.
Systems & Processes: Implement and optimize systems, workflows, and tools (like HubSpot, QuickBooks, and Fieldd) to drive efficiency.
Financial Management: Oversee budgets, financial planning, and key performance metrics to ensure profitability and sustainability.
Growth Initiatives: Drive expansion efforts, including opening new locations, optimizing the main operation, and identifying new revenue streams.
Owner Enablement: Take ownership of operations so the owner can focus on high-level strategic vision and other priorities.
Qualifications
Experience: Proven track record in senior leadership roles (e.g., COO, Director of Operations) within a high-growth company.
Business Acumen: Strong understanding of operations, financial management, and strategic planning.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify challenges and implement practical, scalable solutions.
Leadership: Excellent team-building and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead by example.
Tools Expertise: Familiarity with business tools such as CRMs (HubSpot preferred), financial software (QuickBooks), and scheduling platforms (Fieldd).
