CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR with PROCUREMENT FOCUS

Looking for Filipino VA, this is a work-from-home set up. (7pm-3am EST).

We are a General Contractor company in the U.S. and need ESTIMATORS to join our team.

Some of the tasks are as follows, but not limited to:
-Review plans, and other construction documents and determine project requirements.
-Coordinate with the client and/or designer for any RFIs.
-Source out subcontractors and vendors and send ITBs to secure quotes/bids for the project.
-Send regular follow-ups to subcontractors for bid submission.
-Address subcontractor queries and clarification.
-Review and evaluate subcontractor bids and ensure the scope of work is correct and complete.
-Negotiate with subcontractors and vendors.
-Coordinate and regularly update the estimating team regarding bid updates and status.
-Create quantity takeoffs and estimates for needed trades.
-Maintain detailed records of cost estimates, bids, and project changes.
-Prepare detailed cost estimates and present them to stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:
-10 years and above overall Experience in Estimating/Procurement/Construction Management (is a must);
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical (is a must)
- Past work experience in any company or a GC company in the U.S. is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and confidence when speaking.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, well organized, and ability to multitask
- Strong work ethic - Ability to work under pressure, and have the initiative to do tasks effectively
- Proficient in software/computer programs and equipment (MS Office, google suites, and cloud-based applications like SharePoint, and Dropbox)
