Looking for a Video / Podcast Editor to help me relaunch my YouTube Channel so I can serve my audience better than ever!

I am in need of someone who can edit my long form videos for YouTube and who can also trim them up into short form content platforms like YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reel, and if it survives in the USA, TikTok.

I had been publishing a weekly audio podcast since 2018 and stage 4 cancer caused me to take a break. I'm looking to get back into publishing as an Audio and Video podcast on YouTube.

Your Responsibilities would be:

Edit & Publish Podcast Videos for weekly releasess
Edit & Publish long form videos for weekly releases
Edit & Publish Audio Podcasts (strip audio and minor changes from the Video podcast)
Write a summary for each weekly podcast episode
Create short form content and publish from the weekly long form and podcast episodes
Trim and Edit monthly Live YouTube Sessions
Some basic graphics work in Canva
Help me with my Facebook Group
Help me write a weekly newsletter
Edit videos for training courses.

I also have an e-commerce business and need VA help with these.
Training will be provided for these tasks and will be handed off when you are comfortable handling these tasks.

Following up on outstanding quote via email to customers (templates will be provided for you to send)
Opening Repair Tickets with a vendor for customer issues
Copying Serial Numbers from Asana Tasks into a Google Spreadsheet
Helping to create blog posts
Editing long form videos and short form videos
Converting customer reviews into graphics via Canva

Required Technical Skills:
Since we will be video and audio heavy, someone who has at least 1 year experience with video editing.
This may include blurring sensitive areas of the canvas and adding lower thirds, transitions, and scrolling texts. Extracting audio from the video files to create an audio format is also required.

Soft Skills:
Someone who is well organized and a self starter is important to me
I require someone who can handle daily VA tasks in addition to video editing

Basic Skills:
In addition to excellent English skills, you'll need to have some background in these tools. We can provide training.

My goal is to be able to record content and put most of my focus there. I'd like you to be able to handle my video and podcast needs so that after the files are sent to you, they are edited and published on a schedule. In order for me to focus on creating video content, I also need to have you handle my day to day administration tasks on my e-commerce store.


As we start our journey together, you may not fill your day with these tasks I have outlined. However, as we establish a rhythm and I'm able to start handing items off, we'll have more audio and video project to work on that will take up most of your time.

I am flexible if you need time off and will check in with you as needed each day. You can work in your local timezone and may take off for holidays.
