Shopify Website Developer and Copywriting Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Shopify Website Developer and Copywriting Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a visually appealing, user-friendly, and fully functional Shopify eCommerce website while creating high-quality, engaging copy that enhances the customer experience and drives conversions. You will be the bridge between design, technology, and content, ensuring that all aspects of our website work seamlessly together to meet our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Shopify Website Development:

Design and develop custom Shopify websites, ensuring they are responsive, fast, and secure.
Customize and modify existing themes or create new themes as needed.
Integrate third-party apps and tools to enhance functionality (e.g., payment gateways, email marketing, inventory management, etc.).
Optimize website performance for faster load times and smooth user experience.
Implement SEO best practices on all pages to improve search engine rankings.
Conduct regular testing to ensure all website features are functioning as intended.
Troubleshoot and resolve any website bugs or issues promptly.
Copywriting and Content Creation:

Write compelling, persuasive, and SEO-optimized copy for various parts of the website, including product descriptions, homepage, landing pages, blog posts, and email campaigns.
Ensure consistency of brand voice and messaging across all written content.
Conduct research to understand target audience, trends, and competitors to create relevant and engaging content.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create content that drives traffic, engages users, and increases conversions.
Create content for product pages that highlights benefits, features, and differentiators to boost customer purchasing decisions.
Maintain high standards of grammar, spelling, and style across all website content.
Website Optimization and Analytics:

Regularly analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Shopify Analytics to identify areas for improvement.
Make data-driven recommendations and implement changes to improve user experience, conversion rates, and overall website performance.
Monitor and report on SEO performance, including keyword rankings, organic traffic, and link-building strategies.
Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with designers, product managers, and other teams to ensure website development and content align with overall business objectives.
Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, timelines, and any issues that arise.
Stay up-to-date with Shopify platform updates, trends in eCommerce, and best practices in website development and copywriting.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in Shopify website development, including custom theme development and app integrations.
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid (Shopify's templating language), and other relevant web technologies.
Solid understanding of UX/UI design principles and responsive web design.
Experience with SEO, digital marketing strategies, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.).
Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to write persuasive, clear, and engaging content.
A portfolio demonstrating previous Shopify websites and copywriting projects.
Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Figma is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with email marketing campaigns and automation (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp).
Knowledge of graphic design principles or experience in web design.
Familiarity with product photography and image optimization for web use.
Experience with Shopify Plus or large-scale eCommerce stores.


SHIFT SCHEDULE: 8AM-5PM Philippine Time ,Monday-Friday
