About the Role:
We are excited to announce an opening for the position of Finance Analytics & Insights Officer at WeldConnect. This role is pivotal in driving financial excellence, supporting data-driven decision-making, and ensuring operational efficiency across our organization.
In this role, you will provide critical financial analysis, insights, and reporting to enhance business performance. You’ll play a key part in supporting our regional operations and collaborating with teams to optimize financial outcomes. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth, learning, and impact.
This is a remote role with working hours aligned to the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone.

Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping and Financial Record Management
• Maintain accurate financial records, including tracking expenses, invoices, and payroll.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations.
• Prepare and reconcile financial statements and reports.
Month-End Reporting and Compliance
• Execute month-end processes and ensure adherence to established timelines.
• Deliver accurate, timely, and actionable business performance reports to the management team.
• Support month-end reporting to maintain accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.
Budgeting, Forecasting, and Analysis
• Drive precision in budgeting and forecasting inputs for the business.
• Analyze school testing data to evaluate trends and performance, providing actionable insights.
• Provide analysis and reporting on budgets, planning, and forecasts to guide strategic decisions.
• Offer financial expertise and training to teams on WeldConnect’s financial systems and processes.
Cost Monitoring and Process Improvement
• Collaborate with line management to monitor and control fixed costs, providing analysis and reporting.
• Create post-test reports with graphs and visuals that describe school certification progress.
• Leverage basic graphic design skills to create visually engaging dashboards and reports that clearly communicate financial insights.
• Identify cost drivers, highlight areas of concern, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support finance partners in delivering ad-hoc financial analyses as required.

What We Are Looking For:
• A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or technology sectors.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP (preferred but not required).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• High ethical standards, resilience, and a results-driven mindset.
