High School Academic Support Specialist for Online Education

We are seeking a dedicated and patient individual to assist a high school student (grades 10-12) who is currently catching up on online schoolwork. The student has fallen behind and requires guidance, encouragement, and subject-specific support to meet academic goals and stay on track. The role involves helping the student understand assignments, developing effective study habits, and maintaining consistent progress in their online education.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one academic support for core subjects (Math, English, Science, History, etc.) following the US public high school curriculum.
• Assist the student in completing assignments, understanding concepts, and preparing for tests and exams.
• Develop a personalized learning plan to address gaps in understanding and improve academic performance.
• Monitor the student’s progress, provide regular feedback, and adjust strategies as needed.
• Offer motivation and encouragement to foster confidence and engagement in learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to update on the student’s progress.
