Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Project Manager & Scrum Master. This dual-role position requires a blend of project management skills and agile facilitation expertise to support and deliver successful projects within a fast-paced technical environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution, adherence to Agile principles, and delivery of high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management:
-Assist in planning, executing, and closing technical projects, ensuring they meet business objectives and align with organizational priorities.
-Coordinate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and define scope, timelines, and deliverables.
-Monitor and track project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
-Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, status reports, and budgets.
-Support senior project managers in resource allocation and stakeholder communication.
-Facilitate post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and improve processes.
2. Scrum Master:
-Act as the Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
-Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
-Remove impediments and roadblocks that may hinder the team’s progress.
-Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the backlog effectively.
-Support the team in achieving sprint goals and maintaining high levels of productivity.
-Coach tea
Qualifications:
-Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
-Experience: 1-2 years of experience in project management or as a Scrum Master, preferably in a technical or software development environment.
-Certifications: Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM I) and/or CAPM/PMP is a plus.
Skills:
-Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban.
-Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
-Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
-Proficient in project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
-Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
-Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
