About Praline’s Backyard Foundation:
Praline’s Backyard Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence by providing safe havens for their pets. Many survivors delay leaving abusive situations because they fear for their pets’ safety. We bridge this gap by offering free boarding and foster care for pets, ensuring both pets and their owners can transition to safety with peace of mind.


We are looking for two Outreach and Support Specialists to join our team. You will play a key role in helping us connect with potential donors, maintain clear communication with survivors, and manage logistical follow-ups. This is a remote position, perfect for someone with excellent English skills and experience working with U.S.-based organizations. If you excel in this role, there is an opportunity to grow into a full-time position with a salary increase.

Responsibilities:
• Reach out to potential donors via email and phone to build partnerships and raise funds.
• Follow up with survivors to provide updates, coordinate services, and manage logistics.
• Keep detailed records of all communications and outreach activities.
• Conduct research to identify new donor opportunities and community partners.
• Collaborate with the team to develop outreach strategies and campaigns.
• Assist with general administrative tasks related to outreach and survivor support.

Requirements:
• Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with U.S. English culture, terminology, and vernacular.
• Previous experience working with U.S.-based organizations (virtual or in-person).
• Proficient in using online tools like email, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), and other internet-based platforms.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Friendly, professional, and compassionate when communicating with donors and survivors.

Hours and Salary:
• Part-time: 20 hours per week.
• Opportunity to transition to a full-time role with a salary increase based on performance.
