URGENT: Senior Linux System Engineer (Remote)

Qualifications:
We are seeking an experienced IT professional with over 10 years of hands-on IT experience and advanced expertise in Linux infrastructure technologies. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded skill set in system administration, cloud environments, virtualization, and VDI technologies. Additionally, the candidate should have exceptional communication skills to provide effective remote support to our US-based clients.

Core Skills & Expertise:
Linux Infrastructure
• Expertise in managing Linux systems: Ubuntu, SFTP, RedHat, CentOS, Debian, etc.
• Experience deploying and managing storage solutions like CEPH.
• Linux certification is a plus

Virtualization & Cloud Computing
• Experience with virtualization platforms: VMware, KVM, AHV, Hyper-V, Xen.
• Strong knowledge of CloudStack environments, including management, deployment, and optimization.
• Expertise in managing, deploying, and supporting Citrix VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) solutions is a plus.

Networking
• Solid understanding of networking protocols, concepts, and technologies: DNS, DHCP, Firewall management, LACP, spanning tree, Stacking,

Platform & Server Management
• Windows Desktop Support is a plus
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Support is a plus
• Microsoft Azure skills are a plus
• Backup Systems management experience is a MUST
• Experience with Cisco Meraki is a plus.
• Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server administration and management is a plus
• Server Virtualization and server management skills are a MUST.

Scripting & Automation
• PowerShell scripting skills for automation and system management is a MUST

Additional Skills
• Mac OS and Mac OSX support experience is a plus.
• Zabbix monitoring experience is a MUST.
• Dell server experience is a plus
