Job Title: Virtual Construction Estimator

Our projects range from residential renovations and accessory dwelling units (ADUs) to multi-family developments, affordable housing, and disaster restoration. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Virtual Construction Estimator to join our team and help us bring our vision to life.

Key Responsibilities:

Construction Estimation: Accurately calculate material and labor costs for projects, including renovations, custom builds, ADUs, and disaster restoration, using provided floor plans, photos, and specifications.
Takeoffs: Perform material takeoffs by analyzing floor plans, blueprints, and photos.
Software Proficiency: Utilize BuilderTrend, Xactimate, or similar software to prepare and deliver estimates.
Photo-Based Estimates: Create accurate estimates based on project photos and descriptions.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure all estimates align with project goals.
Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all estimates and project details.
Turnaround: Deliver prompt and detailed estimates to meet project deadlines.
Required Qualifications:

Proven experience in construction estimation (minimum 2 years).
Strong knowledge of BuilderTrend, Xactimate, or equivalent estimation tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and project documentation.
Proficiency in material takeoffs and cost estimation.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in calculations.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with light commercial and disaster restoration projects.
Experience in estimating affordable housing or multi-family projects.
Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging construction technologies.
Work Schedule:

Full-time, aligned with US East Coast business hours.
