Key Responsibilities:
Video Editing:
Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality videos using CapCut.
Add transitions, effects, text overlays, and animations to enhance video appeal.
Ensure smooth pacing and storytelling in videos to retain audience engagement.
Content Optimization:
Adapt videos to YouTube's best practices, including ideal durations, hooks, and audience retention strategies.
Create engaging thumbnails and titles in collaboration with the creative team.
Collaboration:
Work closely with scriptwriters, content creators, and project managers to align on the video vision and objectives.
Incorporate feedback to revise and improve edits.
Sound Design:
Source and edit background music, sound effects, and voiceovers to complement video themes and mood.
Consistency & Branding:
Maintain consistent branding, color grading, and style across all videos.
Ensure videos align with the overall tone and voice of the channel.
Requirements:
Proficiency in using CapCut for video editing.
Experience editing YouTube videos or similar content.
Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and video composition.
Basic knowledge of YouTube algorithms and trends.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Creative eye for design and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and openness to feedback.
Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):
Experience with other video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
Basic graphic design skills for creating thumbnails.
Knowledge of YouTube SEO and analytics.
Familiarity with social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram for repurposing content.
