Job Posting: Full-Time Billing and Compliance Specialist (Remote)
Position: Billing and Compliance Specialist
Location: Remote
Work Hours: Full-Time (8 hours/day, Monday to Friday)

We are a U.S.-based healthcare services company specializing in Personal Care Attendant. Our focus is on delivering high-quality care while maintaining strict compliance with billing and EVV requirements. We are seeking a skilled and proactive Billing and Compliance Specialist to help streamline our processes and manage key responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities
Billing and Claim Management:

Handle claim denials from payers.
Utilize tools to track, correct, and resubmit denied claims.
Handle Appeal requests for untimely claims.
Maintain an accurate tracking system for denied claims, including reasons, resubmission dates, and payment statuses.
Timesheet Tracking and Compliance:

Implement and maintain an automated system for managing EVV timesheets and compliance as outlined in the attached Automating Timesheet Tracking and Compliance
Track client daily service hours against service agreements and flag discrepancies.
Identify employees and clients with missing or incorrect timesheets.
Data Automation and Reporting:

Develop and maintain Excel or Google Sheets dashboards to automate reporting and tracking.
Create automated alerts and summaries for flagged issues.
Generate weekly and monthly reports summarizing claim statuses, EVV compliance, and other metrics.
Process Improvement:

Analyze recurring claim denial reasons and implement strategies to minimize future errors.
Improve workflows for EVV compliance and billing processes.
Communication and Coordination:

Collaborate with office staff and the billing manager to resolve claim issues promptly.
Escalate unresolved claims to payers and track follow-ups until resolution.
Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience in medical billing, healthcare claims, or related roles.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (including formulas, conditional formatting, and automation tools like macros).
Familiarity with U.S. healthcare systems and EVV requirements (experience with PCA services is a plus.
Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
