JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a friendly, assertive individual with a can-do attitude. Candidate is trustworthy, takes ownership, and works independently. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth for Rely On IT. Key Responsibilities:
• Prospect and Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and online networking events and maintain client records in CRM software.
• Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their IT needs and presenting tailored solutions.
• Sales Presentations: Conduct compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value of Rely On IT's services.
• Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized and up-to-date sales pipeline, tracking progress and ensuring timely follow-ups.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and technical teams to develop and execute effective sales strategies and campaigns.
• Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to the management team.

Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in the IT or technology sector.
• Education: HS Diploma, Associate, Bachelors, or Masters degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related discipline.

Skills:
• Creativity: Your average prospect has a full inbox and is no stranger to sales calls. To set yourself apart, you should be good at thinking outside the box. Consider the subject line for sales emails that actually get opened and other ways to stand out from the crowd.
• Strong communication: When someone does pick up the phone or opens your email, you need to win them over. That requires the ability to communicate effectively across channels. It’s important to understand how you come across on the phone, via email, and on social media to make an impact with prospects.
• Research and prospecting skills: You also need to know how to identify prospects and track down their contact information and other details about them. That includes finding commonalities — a mutual connection, an alma mater in common, or a place you’ve both been. Look for ways to make the connection personal.
• Resilience: Some amount of rejection happens across sales roles regardless of experience. It’s important to learn how to compartmentalize the hard parts of the job so that you can keep picking up the phone to call the next lead on the list. Not giving up in the face of rejection.
• Taking Ownership: You see tasks through to completion on-time with quality. Ask for resources or clarification when needed. Taking responsibility for your actions. Also includes the following:
• Recognize a skill gap and seek training to eliminate it
• Admit to mistakes so they can be remedied
• Ask for resources or clarification when you anticipate problems completing a task

If you fit all/most of the above, please apply, we look forward to meeting you.
