Youtube Video Editor - Travel Niche

Looking for a talented, experienced video editor willing to learn & grow with a new creator in a travel niche. Will pay flat rate per video PLUS revenue share, so your paycheck grows as the channel does!

The ideal candidate…
- Is coachable, obsessed with quality, detail-oriented, process-driven, communicates effectively, and takes pride in their work
- Is willing to learn and grow long-term as the channel grows
- Has a good understanding of storytelling and how it’s conveyed in a video edit
- Has a good understanding of Youtube video analytics and important metrics

My intent is to find a talented partner that is highly motivated, ambitious, and willing to grow with me as the channel grows.

Job responsibilities:
- Create engaging 10-20 minute long-form Youtube videos from provided raw footage
- Video style will be anything from talking head/informational videos to vlog type travel videos
- Add graphics, text overlays, b-roll, stock footage, music, sound effects, editing techniques, etc. to keep videos fun and engaging
- Collaborate with me on the video vision, story, and strategy before and occasionally during the editing process
- Incorporate feedback and iterate

Must have:
- Experience with video editing with professional-grade software (Davinci Resolve preferred)
- Proven experience editing high quality videos (ideally for Youtube)
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of quality
- Ability to meet deadlines (flexible at first)
- Proactive, self-motivated, and excited about growing a Youtube channel
- Effective written and spoken English language skills, but does NOT have to be perfect

Nice to haves (but not necessary):
- An interest in travel and in travel-focused Youtube videos
- Experience & expertise in photo editing & thumbnail creation
- Business-minded, especially in the social media space
- Proven experience editing videos for a growing/successful Youtube channel
