Davinci Resolve Studio - Video Editor Role

I am looking to hire a TALENTED, PROFESSIONAL & FORWARD THINKING VIDEO EDITOR to work with on a weekly basis.

This AD is directed to video editors who use DAVINCI RESOLVE STUDIO, - If you do not use and are not proficient in Davinci Resolve Studio - DO NOT APPLY, if you do you will be blacklisted from any future opportunities.

If successful, the right candidate will be editing predominantly short-form videos in the format of: highlight videos, talking-head videos, explainer videos etc.

In terms of the right person, I'm looking for somebody who is:

- Fluent in English
- Hard working
- Can work to meet deadlines
- Is organised
- Is willing to take on and implement feedback for video edit amends
- Is independent and has a "can do" attitude
- Is willing to improve

In terms of skillset and capabilities, I'm looking for someone who:

- Is a proficient video editor in Davinci Resolve Studio
- Can produce 4-5 short-form video edits per day
- Has basic knowledge of the Fusion page within Davinci Resolve Studio
- Can implement captions & basic motion graphics
- Can implement visual transitions and SFX assets
- Has a creative eye for detail and story telling
- Can learn and adapt to my editing workflow

I will be providing additional video editing training to the candidate who joins the team in order to help them improve and speed up both the quality of their editing and their workflow.

There will be quotas for how many videos you will need to edit per day/week and deadlines for when they need to be completed by.

However, your working hours are semi-flexible. You will only be required to work as many hours as it takes you to complete the agreed upon number of videos. Whether it takes you 8 hours or 4 hours to complete your daily quota, that does not matter to me as long as the work is completed and to the expected quality standard agreed upon.

The training provided in the early stages should help you become a more efficient editor and bring you up to speed so you can get more done in less time.

*I am NOT looking for someone who is a beginner. This is a professional level role.
