The Opportunity:
To ensure a strong fit, this role begins with a paid trial project where you’ll format and design an Instagram carousel based on pre-approved content. This trial will help both of us see if our working styles align. Success in this project will open the door to broader responsibilities, including managing performance reports, designing across platforms, and refining social media workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
Format, design, and post pre-approved social media content on LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms
Create visually engaging posts using Canva (or similar) to elevate content presentation
Recommend and implement scheduling tools to streamline the posting process
Track key performance metrics (impressions, engagement, follower growth) and compile data into actionable reports
Collaborate on creating systems and processes that improve content delivery efficiency
Stay up-to-date with social media trends and recommend improvements to keep posts fresh and engaging
Proactively suggest creative solutions and process optimizations to help our content and brand strategy stand out
What We’re Looking For:
Must-Have Skills:
Strong proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark)
Experience with social media management and scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Buffer, Hootsuite)
Ability to track and report performance metrics in a meaningful way
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational abilities, with the initiative to suggest and implement process improvements
Desirable but Not Essential:
Basic video editing skills for Instagram Reels and LinkedIn posts (e.g., using CapCut or VN Editor)
Familiarity with photo editing tools like Adobe Lightroom for minor touch-ups
Familiarity with invoicing software, particularly Xero, to assist with simple invoicing tasks
Familiarity with engagement strategies (e.g., hashtags, audience interaction)
Experience in the events, hospitality, or entertainment industry
Work Conditions:
Flexible hours: You can work your own schedule, but key deliverables should align with our core hours (11am–8pm Sydney time).
Collaborative but autonomous: You’ll have the creative autonomy to manage your workflow while staying aligned through regular check-ins.
